Dalia Paratore is Director of Multicultural Products and Services for PR Newswire. In this capacity she is directly responsible for the development and maintenance of all the division’s products and services. She is also responsible for all technology for the division: from servers, to programming, applications, new products and ensuring that all services and products interface with PR Newswire legacy systems. Dalia’s goal is to ensure that all products offered by the Multicultural division are optimal and of best use to all PR Newswire clients. Dalia has worked on Hispanic PR Wire distribution systems, ROI products, the Hispanic Digital Network technology platform, ProfNet en Español, Hispanic MEDIAbase and Microlists for Multicultural markets; and aids in training and marketing of the division’s products and services.
Dalia Paratore was Chief Operating Officer and Partner of LatinClips, Inc. In that capacity she directly oversaw all of the technology aspects of the service and was responsible for all monitoring and developing of resources in the research department’s databases. HispaniMark, LLC, owner of LatinClips, Inc, Hispanic PR Wire and Hispanic Digital Network, was acquired by publicly traded PR Newswire/United Business Media, January 3rd, 2007.
Dalia, born and raised in Lima, Peru, is a seasoned research specialist. Prior to joining LatinClips, she was the former manager of the Freedom Forum Library at the Inter American Press Association where she was responsible for providing research to the major Latin American publications, their newsrooms and directors.
Dalia spearheaded the Latin American News Libraries consortium that boasts 32 members. She also provided in-depth research for universities, government think tanks, non-government organizations as well as journalists in Latin America . Additionally, Dalia collaborated with the Foreign Press Center at the Department of State to create an International Press Center for foreign journalists.
Dalia also worked for the Miami-Dade County library system and at Florida Power and Light as a business analyst. Dalia has a Master of Science in Information Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Florida State University.
